Throughout Jesus’ ministry, we see Him ministering to the weak, the broken, and the outcasts. We even see Him be criticized for loving those that society has labeled as ‘sinners.’ This month, we are going to talk about what it looks like to make evangelism a part of our own lives. We want to talk about what it means to act more like Jesus in this area of our lives. Over the next several weeks, we are going to look at some of the ways that Jesus reached out to people, and we want to recognize how we can do that as well. Jesus interacted with people like the Samarian woman at the well, he told stories about people like the prodigal son, he went out of his way to make sure that 4,000 people were fed, and he left us with a task to carry on this ministry. That is why we want to take a look at evangelism, and we want to build the bridge between ourselves and people who are different than us.
