Each of us, regardless of age, are children of God, and are welcome in worship. Through prayer, we offer our praise to God; we pray for healing, grace, and forgiveness. Through the Holy Spirit we grow in relationship with God and the oneness we all feel in Jesus Christ. We go to the Scriptures for inspiration and guidance as we listen to the proclamation of God’s Word. We receive direction to follow God’s truth in our lives. The offering is an important act of worship. We offer to God our praise, our worship, our hearts, and our financial resources as our response to the immense grace of God. We celebrate two sacraments in the United Methodist Church. Through the sacrament of Baptism we are initiated into Christ’s holy church. We are incorporated into God’s mighty acts of salvation and given rebirth through water and the spirit. We will baptize anyone at any age. We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion each first Sunday of the month in the Sanctuary and every week in “The Current”. Through this Sacrament we remember Jesus’ Last Supper with his apostles, we express thanksgiving for all the mighty acts of God in history, we experience God’s amazing grace in our lives, and we participate in being the Body of Christ. All are welcome to share in Holy Communion. Gluten Free bread is available as well.
We love children in our worship services and spaces. On most Sundays, there will be a children’s message during worship; and, afterward our children can either be dismissed to Children’s Church or remain in the worship space for the rest of the service.
